A number of outfitters work sections of the Delaware river, including Kittatinny Canoes in Dingman's Ferry, PA, 800-356-2852; Point Pleasant Canoes in Point Pleasant, PA, 215-279-8823; Shawnee Canoe, 800-742-9633. Bob Snodgrass, 717-828-2799 operates a shuttle service for the Delaware River.

In the Lehigh Valley, try the Pocono Whitewater Rafting Center, Rt 903, Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania 18229, (717) 325-3656, or Whitewater Challengers, Inc.. You might also want to stop in Blue Mountain Sports in Jim Thorpe to check out their paddling and biking gear for sale, or to take advantage of their bike/boat shuttle service. Around the Harper's Ferry area (Shenandoah Staircase, Potomac, Antietam Creek, etc.) you'll find from Blue Ridge Outfitters, River Riders, and River And Trail Outfitters.
