THe Upper Gunpowder has quite a few strainers in it following the passage of hurricane Isabel. Caution is advised for anyone contemplating running it, as shown in the these pictures, which were taken from river right on 9/29/2003 and are in sequence heading downstream. Gauge was reading about 2.15 feet at the Falls Road bridge at the time.
